Antenatal Clinics
These are held on a regular basis with the community midwife at the Willow Centre.
Baby Clinic
Baby Clinics are held at St Stephens Health Centre.
Child Development And Immunisation Clinics
These are held on a regular basis with GP and practice nurse.
Family Planning
Contraceptive care is provided by the doctors and nurses during normal working hours.
Non-NHS Examinations
Medical examinations for special reasons, for example, employment, fitness to drive or insurance are by special arrangement with the doctor and a fee is payable.
Flu Vaccinations
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes.
Dates for these vaccinations are displayed in the waiting room and reception staff can also provide information.
Minor Surgery
These will be held on alternate Thursdays 2pm - 3pm.
Certain surgical procedures are performed by the doctors by prior arrangement. These may save unnecessary visits to the hospital.
Newly Registered Patients
All newly registered patients are asked to see our health care assistant for a registration check within one month of joining the practice. This is your chance to get to know your practice and your doctor/nurse. Please try to bring with you details of past illnesses, vaccinations, cervical smears, a list of your medications and also a urine specimen.
